Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Payment Industry knowledge and experience to capture the client, internal and third party business and functional requirements and perform business and functional analysis of captured requirements as well as document the results
- Analyze and interpret MasterCard/Visa network manuals for prepaid card system processing and apply the knowledge to projects
- Apply knowledge of ISO8583 card specifications of card message format for designing and formulating requirements for transaction processing of prepaid products
- Create systems documentation that take the captured requirements and allow our development teams to build the necessary products and features
- Document system requirements using UML Methodology, including process modeling
- Use the Software Development Life Cycle experience to assist and support each phase of the project, starting from inception to implementation of projects
- Work with the Development and Quality Assurance teams to support the testing phases of various projects
- Conduct a review and analysis of client processes and procedures to create test plans, test conditions, test cases and automation test scripts
- Conduct design sessions with Model Developers and Programming Teams while working closely with Technology and other internal teams to align technical requirements
- Develop requirements for application development initiatives and assist in the areas of process transformation and integrated software solutions to meet technical business needs
Required Skills / Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the job offered or 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Project Manager, Consultant, Technical Member, or related
- Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related
