IDE Model Developer
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
The IDE Model Developer is responsible for taking business and technical requirements and creating model templates for building stored value card processing solutions. An understanding of financial processes is preferred but not required. The IDE Model Developer will interact with vendors, business experts, and internal technical teams.
As part of our Modeling Team, you will develop a graphical modeling integrated developmental environment (IDE), and a fully documented template library with which we can quickly and efficiently create highly customized processing platforms for our clients.
This IDE can be used to construct a fully integrated, end-to-end prepaid card processing system. Starting with our template library, we can model all individual business requirements with the IDE including:
- Data and work flows
- Service level agreements
- Cardholder, customer service, administrative and other websites
- Web services APIs
Required Knowledge / Experience:
- 2+ years experience in a technical role (i.e.: Technical Business Analyst, Web-site Developer, Technical Writer or Software Developer)
- Well-organized, self-starter with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Programming skills in one or more of the following is required; Java, HTML, shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, XML, SQL
- Strong natural instinct and enthusiasm for problem solving
- Excellent analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
