Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilites:

  • Work as a member of a cross functional team including software engineers and implementation managers
  • Use latest technologies, tools, and techniques to develop automation and test management framework (Selenium, JMeter, Java, XML, SQL, etc...)
  • Define test plans and test specifications for functional, unit, integration and performance testing, as well as the manual execution of test cases, and reporting product failures
  • Work closely with other software and QA engineers to drive identified issues and improvements to reslution
  • Using industry standards and QA best-practices, the QA Engineer develops innovative, cutting-edge automation solutions and technologies

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 2+ years QA experience
  • Experience implementing performance test scenarios
  • Demonstrated knowledge of QA test processes including test planning, development and execution
  • Professional experience with performance/load testing in an enterprise environment
  • Experience working in a Java based environment A MUST
  • Solid understanding of software development and the software testing lifecycle as well as experience in applying software testing techniques, processes, and tools
  • Experience in the Server side monitoring for the resources usage and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a cross disciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
