TxVia is active in many areas of emerging payments and financial services both domestically and internationally. Blackhawk Network, for example, utilizes TxVia technology to process its Visa Ideal Gift portfolio—one of the largest in the World—and PayPower general purpose reloadable card (GPR) portfolios as well as closed loop cards and the ReloadIT reload network. BankSimple relies on TxVia technology as part of its groundbreaking engagement banking solution and YellowPepper depends upon TxVia technology to enable mobile payment solutions in Latin America.

Modernizing Legacy Systems

TxVia offers technology solutions for the modernization of legacy processing systems. Much of today’s payments and financial services applications are enabled by antiquated platforms and outdated technologies. Upgrades and updates to these systems, some of which date back as far as the 1970s, are—in the best case—time consuming, risky and expensive and—in the worst case—simply not feasible. TxVia provides practical solutions for processors, financial institutions and program managers to modernize their processing platforms and in turn offer better solutions at lower TCO. TxVia can work directly with clients or collaborate with outsourced development organizations. Our solutions improve features and functionality, incorporate the latest in communications and distribution channels, and reduce points of failure and cost.

In 2010, TxVia developed a client processing platform for InteliSpend to replace an in-house American Express platform that included more than 600 product configurations and 5,000 active programs for approx. 88 of the Fortune 100 across a 30m-card portfolio. The development timeline was less than 150 days, including multiple systems integrations. The migration occurred at over 10,000 records per second and over $100m in balances were converted and balanced to the penny.

Prepaid Cards

As part of our emerging payments and financial services offerings, we provide end-to-end solutions to support Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express prepaid cards. With more than 10 years of commercialization, prepaid cards represent the most mature segment of emerging payments and financial services. TxVia offers processing solutions for a complete range of prepaid cards–including reloadable and nonreloadable products utilizing a broad range of online and offline marketing and distribution channels.

Our solutions are end-to-end, incorporating all of the latest features and functionalities. These include program and product configuration, customer servicing interfaces, multi-purse capabilities, flexible fee structures, analytics and campaign management tools, and risk and fraud controls.
